I've started on the first of my fashion
refurbishing! It's still very much a work in
progress, but I'm happy with how it's
turning out so far. Fun fact: they actually
make this thing called "fabric medium"
which you can mix into acrylic paint to
make it work as fabric paint. It's really
handy if you want to paint designs on your
clothes without buying fabric specific
paint. I used that on the the right hand
pocket, and am adding sugar free Redbull
tabs to the left. Sewing on the tabs is a lot
of work. According to my calculations, it will take
68 of them to cover the pocket. Currently, I have
18 sewn on and 23 sitting in a jar. If you drink a
lot of sugar free Redbull and feel like sending
them to me, let me know lol. It does slightly annoy
me that the blue of the paint and the tabs don't
match, but I think I'll get over it. I also have plans
for designs on the front pockets, but that's a future
endeavor.
I plan to make a business out of selling stuff
like this, though I'm not 100% sure how big of a
market there is for it. At worst, it's me engaging
in a hobby I enjoy, so I can't be too mad about it.
Well, that's all I have this week. I'll be sure to
show y'all the finished product when the time
comes. Bye for now!

We're back, baby! I have a few things I'd like to share with y'all that I wasn't able to during my trip. First, here's a drawing I finished while at my sister's house.
It's essentially my interpretation of an angel. I was
considering doing this as my halloween costume but
I don't really think I have the materials or time...
or any real reason to dress up on halloween,
honestly. I kinda gave up on the dress because I did
NOT want to draw all the ruffles I had originally
planned, but I'm happy with it overall.
We also went to a concert while I was there. Well,
I did anyway. I did get my sister a ticket, but she
didn't like the type of music that was being played
so she was at a Panera 2 miles away. Appleseed, one of
the bands that was playing, is actually from
Las Vegas, funnily enough. Here's some photos from
that.
Slane Stewart
Diva Bleach.
Appleseed
Cheerleader
Roadkill
We also went to a farmers' market, where I got
these sick ass earrings. They're made with real snake
vertebrae, ethically sourced, of course. You can find
them and other cool stuff at
In more recent news, I went to the Goodwill bins
today and got a bunch of stuff that I plan to
upcycle. My goal is to eventually start a
business selling upcycled garments as well as my
own original designs.
That's about all I have this week, I'll be sure to
show y'all what I make with my Goodwill finds.
Bye for now!
